As we mentioned a few months ago, we’ve been working on some exciting new developments to our class space. The space next door to our shop became available, and we jumped on the opportunity to expand.
This new space serves as our dedicated education center and we’re looking forward to hosting lots of classes, workshops, guild meetings, and more within its walls. Here’s a short photo tour:
Plenty of space to showcase our spinning products.
Washing machines and stoves and utility sinks, oh my!
Pull up a chair around a giant table – plenty of room to spread out your knitting and your notes.
You can’t have a successful workshop without a good area for snack breaks!
Plenty of room for swifts, ball-winders, and other yarn prep.
We’ve added a full kitchen for snacking and other uses, laundry facilities and a utility sink, a large area full of swifts and ball-winders for yarn prep, and even a large TV so we can walk through things like the ins and outs of Ravelry on the big screen. There are more tables, more chairs, more windows to let the light in – more of everything we love about teaching!
From dyeing to knitting to weaving and more, there’s a full lineup of classes just waiting for you to join the fun. We hope to see you in our new education center sometime soon!
